All summer long, the Marché en musique offers a warm and lively atmosphere in the heart of the Dolus market, on the Place Simone Veil. Every Wednesday morning from 10:30, visitors can enjoy open-air musical entertainment while shopping for fresh produce, creating an enjoyable moment to share with family and friends. The program features a wide variety of musical styles. On Wednesday August 20, the group Jazztet, with saxophone and double bass, plunges the audience into a traditional jazz atmosphere, blending improvisation, swing and blues influences. On Wednesday, August 27, the group Tout une époque offers a retro, vintage ambience carried by guitar and double bass, evoking the popular sounds of the 20th century. More broadly, Marché en musique features a rich and varied palette of sounds: the warm chords of the accordion, the energy of the brass, the finesse of the piano, the rhythm of the guitar and the depth of the double bass come together to offer different musical ambiances each week. This diversity allows us to travel between styles, from traditional jazz to retro influences, while creating a festive atmosphere accessible to all.
