On Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 8:30 pm, the church of Saint-Trojan-Les-Bains will resound with lively, meditative and moving music, all performed by the four members of the Gimenez family, the "Agapissimo" group.
The youngest of the performers, 10-year-old Thalie, will take the violin stand. Winner of three international violin competitions in 2024, she was unanimously awarded first prize with 1st class honors and jury congratulations at the Prodige Art Paris Vatelot-Rampal competition, unanimously awarded first prize with class II jury congratulations at the Bellan Junior international competition, and finally, the jury prize, unanimously awarded with first class honors, at the Young Opus competition. Her sister, Éline, aged 12, will play the piano. Winner of three international piano prizes in 2024, she was awarded 1st prize, level II, at the Bellan Junior International Competition, 1st prize, virtuosity level I, and the jury prize at the Paris International Piano Competition. In April 2025, she took part in the final of the Orléans Brin d'herbe Junior International Piano Competition, and was shortlisted for a special "composition" prize. Since 2025, she has been supported by the Galaxie-Y Foundation, chaired by the great pianist Françoise THINAT. In June 2025, she performed at the Place de la République, as part of the Grand PianO Festival d'Orléans (Place O jeunes Talents), then for the 10-year gala of the ORCOM Foundation, at the Orléans conference center. Her mother, Caroline, is a violin teacher at the Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle conservatory. She performs regularly in concert with various ensembles including the Orchestre Symphonique du Loiret, the Orchestre Symphonique d'Orléans, l'Inattendu, Ensemble Orchestral 41 and the Orchestre du Chapitre. With her husband François-Jérôme Gimenez on guitar, she forms the Duo Mimesis. They play regularly in France and abroad, in bars, restaurants, private parties, hospitals, churches, festivals... In 2012, they recorded a studio album which enabled them to reach the finals of the "Musique au Centre" Chamber Music Competition at Blois Castle in 2013.
Dad Jérome won his classical guitar prize at the age of 24. He went on to study musicology, obtaining the CAPES in music education and choral singing. At the same time, he studied harmony and composition with Thierry Pallesco and Jean-Luc Defontaine, then perfected his skills with Thomas Lacôte at the Aubervilliers-La Courneuve conservatory. He has composed and arranged various works for guitar, piano, organ and chamber music. Some of his works have been performed at concerts and festivals, including the 7th Paris International Guitar Festival. He is a member of the Duo des Loges (classical guitar duo), with whom he has performed at the Festival des cordes pincées in Thouars, at the "Clefs de Notre-Dame" festival, for "Les Vacances de Monsieur Haydn", and also at the Suites de Notre-Dame in Poitiers.
The program features a wide variety of works, including Alfazaz's tango, Gade's tango "Jalousie", Takemitsu's waltz, Vivaldi's Winter, Rossini's Overture to The Barber of Seville, Schubert's Serenade, Corelli's Folie... and many other surprises...
