Oléron Comic Strip Festival

The BD Oléron Festival returns for its 2ᵉ edition from June 8 to 14, with an entire week dedicated to comics, creation and sharing all over the island.



From June 8 to 11, from Saint-Denis-d'Oléron to La Brée-les-Bains, via Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, Dolus-d'Oléron, Le Château-d'Oléron and Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, comics invite themselves into the island's villages, media libraries, schools and living spaces. Exhibitions, encounters and discovery sessions bring the public closer to comics and their creators along the way, with the heart of the festival taking place on June 12, 13 and 14 at Colo&Co. For three days, this venue will be transformed into a veritable comics village, with exhibitions, round-table discussions and meetings with artists. The public will also be able to discover and buy comics, discuss the creative process and enjoy a festive program combining culture and conviviality, with concerts and social events open to all. An off-festival will complete the program, with vintage comic stands and the presence of authors and illustrators.
