Bazoche painting exhibition
Dates & opening times
Description
Bazoche, a self-taught painter who lives in a small village in the Périgord region of France, offers us a narrative style of painting, drawing his inspiration from comics, cinema, photography and scenes from everyday life. With his soft color palette and choice of themes, he draws us into a world that isn't really there, imbued with nostalgia and reverie. His works are not a representation of reality, but rather a staging of images that have marked the artist. In this way, Bazoche offers us a world in which we can project ourselves and imagine a multitude of possibilities. (Her work has also been the subject of writing workshops.) By erasing the features of her characters, Bazoche captures the essential, and once again gives us the opportunity to let our emotions run wild. So let your imagination sail between smiles and tears, according to the story that's closest to your heart...
