Concert

Soba means "big house" in Dioula, the Mandinka language spoken mainly in Burkina Faso. Home to friendly reunions and musical complicities, Soba is the roof under which Moussa Koita, Vincent Bucher and Émile Biayenda meet. Over the past six years, the group has evolved from members getting to know each other's projects to a desire to build their band on the foundations of the blues they share. In this magnificent way, Soba follows in the footsteps of the African troubadours and Mississippian bluesmen who, with their rudimentary means but transcendent interpretations, explored every nook and cranny of human nature.
