Imagine a charming little hotel on the banks of the Perrotine channel, punctuated by the tides and the comings and goings of yachtsmen, fishing boats and oyster barges... Recently renovated, the hotel and restaurant have been decorated with care, warmth, comfort and modernity. The 10 rooms are fully equipped (shower rooms, TV, wifi...) and offer a view of the channel and a small private terrace in some cases.
For lovers of local produce, breakfast is served as a buffet and includes jams from the Ile d'Oléron, home-baked bread and pastries...
Ideally located, the establishment is just a stone's throw from the marina from which cruisers depart for La Rochelle, Ile d'Aix and Fort Boyard. On the other side of the channel, the small oyster-farming port of Fort Royer invites you to stroll along the nature reserve and oyster beds. Near the hotel, you'll find a number of cycle paths and hiking trails that take you through the large Saumonards national forest... a breath of fresh air for you!
If you're looking to relax, just a 10-minute walk will take you to the wide, sandy beach of Boyardville, with its breathtaking view of Fort Boyard. Numerous water sports activities are also available in the harbour and at the sailing school on the beach.
Ideally located on the edge of the La Perrotine channel, the restaurant/bar is a true meeting place for yachtsmen, professionals and ocean lovers. In a relaxed atmosphere and cosy decor, Sandrine and Pierrick aim to showcase local produce. The cuisine, both local and revisited, is concocted exclusively with fish from La Cotinière, oysters from Fort Royer, vegetables from Oléron... And for dessert, profiteroles and homemade lime cheesecake of course... A must on Boyardville harbor! The cellar features some thirty wines from producers and Grands Crus Classés.
The bar and terrace overlooking the channel are open non-stop.
