Circuit pédestre, côté Saint Just

Departing from the village of St Just, this tour takes you on a lovely stroll between village and marsh.



You'll discover the history of its vast Gothic church, and wander through the village's narrow streets, where you'll still find old dwellings, wells and stamps. You'll also walk through the gentle marshlands of Brouage, where you'll be able to contemplate numerous bird species. Little egrets, grey herons and storks like to rest here for most of the year. Once salt marshes, it was in the 16th century that they brought extraordinary wealth to the whole "Pays des Isles".
