The Forge Royale was one of the main buildings constructed when Cardinal de Richelieu became governor of the Cité.

Descriptif

The Forge Royale, located near the old quays, was used to manufacture horseshoes and small metal parts. It still boasts a beautiful Louis XIII-style central brick and stone fireplace.



The Forge Royale is open to the public from April to September.
