Franco Fiesta -Rencontre Littéraire

Elitza Gueorguieva is a Bulgarian novelist who writes in French. She is a writer, filmmaker and performer.

After eighteen years in Bulgaria, she moved to France, where she has since pursued art and knowledge in all their forms.

She is the author of several autobiographical novels praised for their accuracy and humor.

She was awarded the SGDL André Dubreuil prize for first novel for Les cosmonautes ne font que passer, and has since directed two documentaries: Chaque mur est une porte and Notre endroit silencieux, based on the writing of Aliona Gloukhova's novel Dans l'eau je suis chez moi, which have toured numerous French and international festivals.

Her second novel, Odyssée des filles de l'Est, published in January 2024, met with great critical and public success.
