Tempête" theater
Dates & opening times
Description
Theater by the Prélude collective.
In Shakespeare's The Tempest, a duke driven from power by his brother lives on a desert island with his daughter. Desperate for revenge and to put an end to his exile, he orders supernatural forces to unleash a storm, in order to cause the sinking of the ship on which the man who usurped his place is traveling.
In the space of an hour, the six performers of Tempête tell not one, but two stories. That of the play written by Shakespeare in 1610, and that of the actors who, with us today, have to deal with the hazards of a performance that doesn't quite go according to plan.
