Musical conversation with Alain Chamfort: the best of myself" show

Description

2024 marked Alain Chamfort's comeback on all fronts: a new album preceded by an EP in collaboration with Sébastien Tellier, and a gradual re-release of his extensive catalog.

In anticipation of all this, Alain Chamfort has decided to offer his public a special rendez-vous: a show featuring the great songs of his career, in which he will give himself up to the game of a live interview. Accompanied on stage by his pianist and his long-time accomplice, the Franco-American singer and presenter Valli, he will share anecdotes and highlights from his professional life: his early career as a musician, notably alongside Jacques Dutronc, his singing debut with Claude François, the "Gainsbourg" years with whom he made three albums, the birth of his songs, the encounters that have marked his life, the successes, the setbacks - everything that makes the best of our lives.

With a mix of confidences and piano, this unique rendez-vous will bring to light songs from his repertoire (Manureva, Bambou, Chasseur d'Ivoire, Traces de toi, la Fièvre dans le sang, Clara veut la Lune...) and other, lesser-known nuggets from the albums of his career.
