The Saint Pierre d'Oléron media library, in partnership with UTL Marennes d'Oléron, will be hosting a fine exhibition of photographs on the Berlin Wall from January 07 to January 25. On Tuesday, January 07 at 6pm, there will be a talk by Karsten Kurowski, a Franco-German journalist, film-maker and documentary filmmaker, who witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall 35 years ago and criss-crossed the roads of the former GDR to capture the reactions of East Germans to this major political event. He is the author of numerous publications on the subject.
