From May 4 to 10, 2024, the festival will present its 20th edition. On this occasion, we'll be embarking on a musical voyage around the world, following the travels of Pierre Loti. This year, we'll be going to the Americas, North and South, to see how French music has influenced the musical production of countries across the Atlantic, and also how these cultures, far from our metropolis, have nourished the inspirations of our national authors and composers.

"West Side Story

In the first half, the young and breathtaking Hélios trio performs two trios: one by Maurice Ravel, the other by American composer Amy Beach. A short stopover in South America in the second half, where the trio will be joined by William Sabatier, an exceptional bandoneonist and myself, to perform melodies by Astor Piazzolla [...] Throughout the show, Denis Podalydès will plunge us into the world of traveler Pierre Loti by reciting some of his texts, at the very place where this great actor made his first stage production. Come travel, and dance the tango a little!

2024 will also mark the centenary of the death of Gabriel Fauré, a French composer of great importance to French chamber music. On May 8, we'll be taking a journey through the life of this composer, who wrote music for 61 years!
