Boyardville

Situated in a beautiful spot, 8km away from Saint-Georges; Boyardville is a recent village, along-side the channel of the Perrotine, which was used in the past to access the salt port. It's origin goes back to the beginning of the 19th century and is directly connected to the history of Fort Boyard, that can be seen in the open sea, halfway between the island of Aix and the island of Oléron. The village of Boyardville, with it's remarkable stretch of water, it's sailing port, it's immense beach of fine sand, it's vast forest of 600 acres, makes Boyardville the jewel of the commune. Guenuine seaside resort, especially of watersports, it is also the point of départure of maritime cruises.
